Our firm was tasked with converting a strip mall space into a fully functioning Radiation Oncology Center to include spa services for patient healing and wellness. The 8600 square foot facility is an environment oriented to the medical and emotional needs of patients.

The radiation therapy program includes a Linear

Accelerator, a High Dosage Radiation Vault, miscellaneous imaging equipment, a full complement of exam rooms, other support spaces related to the treatment spaces, and designated future vault space.

The program was coupled with the goal of creating a warm, non-threatening environment dedicated to physical and mental well-being of the patient, achieved by interweaving  the spa concept. The intent is to shift the patient’s focus from their illness to the tranquil spa environment providing a retreat while they obtain treatment.
